Nestled in the heart of Martinsville, Indiana, on the historic county square, The Sterling Butterfly is more than just a boutique—it’s a vibrant artisan marketplace celebrating the craftsmanship of over 25 talented artists. Established in 2014 by jewelry designer Pam Hurst, our store offers a carefully curated selection of fine arts, handcrafted jewelry, pottery, textiles, glass, wood, and more.
Our Story
Pam Hurst, the founder of The Sterling Butterfly, spent years as a studio artist at the Art Sanctuary before opening the boutique. As her own jewelry business flourished, she saw a need for a dedicated space where local artists could showcase and sell their work. This vision led to the creation of The Sterling Butterfly, a place where artistry and community come together. Above the boutique, you’ll also find Pam’s personal jewelry studio, where she designs and crafts stunning pieces using precious metals and real gemstones. Pam’s jewelry has even been featured on TV shows like Jane the Virgin and The Vampire Diaries, as well as in Hollywood events like The Academy Awards and The Golden Globes.
